Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with our 6-day tour of America’s vibrant east coast cities! Our route begins in Boston, where we’ll depart for Portland, the coastal capital city of Maine. While there, get ready to explore unique boutiques and shops while also chowing down on fresh seafood from restaurants riddled along the Old Port Exchange. Next, we’ll journey to Bar Harbor to experience cultural attractions and breathtaking views of Maine’s rugged shoreline. Afterwards, you’ll get the chance to marvel at the sweeping natural scenery of Acadia National Park, and view the world below from Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the east coast. Then, our route continues with an exciting stop at Raven Interpretive Program, where you’ll learn about the history and wildlife of the White Mountains, before getting to overlook the gorgeous lakes and vegetation of North Conway. Over the next days, we’ll examine the rural life of New England’s past in Woodstock, experience the glorious Green Mountains of Killington, and explore historic streets, museums, and beautiful scenery in Stockbridge and Sturbridge. Day 1 - Sunday:
From Boston to Portland to Bar Harbor
The adventure begins in the city of Boston, a place steeped in history and alive with energy. From there, you will travel to Portland, the center of the coastal community in Maine. Your first stop in Portland will be at the Old Port Exchange, where you can wander down cobblestone streets and find a variety of charming boutiques, seafood restaurants, and shops. The next destination on your journey is Bar Harbor, a town situated on the breathtaking Mount Desert Island. In Bar Harbor, you will be able to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. You will spend the night in Maine's oldest summer resort, surrounded by peaceful lakes and rolling hills
Day 2 - Monday:
Excursion to Acadia National Park
Today, you will go on an excursion to Acadia National Park, a place where rugged coastline, crystal-clear lakes, and dense forests come together to create a stunning landscape. You will drive along the scenic park road, taking in the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Your journey will include a stop at the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the east coast, where you can soak in panoramic views of the park and surrounding area. After a day of exploration and adventure, you will return to Bar Harbor to spend the night.
Day 3 - Tuesday:
New York City - free day
Your journey on Day 3 takes you from Bar Harbor to North Conway, a charming town in the heart of the White Mountains. You will make a stop at the Raven Interpretive Program site, where you can learn about the history and local wildlife of the White Mountains. By the end of the day, you will have arrived in North Conway, where you will spend the night surrounded by rolling hills, pristine lakes, and the brilliant fall foliage.
Day 4 - Wednesday:
From new York City to Niagara Falls
This day's journey will take you from North Conway to Woodstock and Killington. You will start by traveling through Franconia Notch, where you will take the beautiful Kancamagus Highway. This road follows the Connecticut River and offers breathtaking views of the White Mountains and surrounding countryside. Next, you will visit the charming town of Woodstock and explore the Billings Farm & Museum, which provides a glimpse into the rural life of New England's past. Finally, you will arrive in Killington, where you will spend the night.
Day 5 - Thursday:
From Killington to Stockbridge and Sturbridge
On this day of your journey takes you from Killington to Stockbridge and Sturbridge. The first stop will be in Stockbridge, a town renowned for its historic Main Street and unique local shops. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Norman Rockwell Studio & Museum, which showcases the iconic paintings and illustrations of the famous American artist. By the end of the day, you will have arrived in Sturbridge, where you will spend the night surrounded by rolling hills and incredible fall foliage, providing a peaceful escape from city life.
Day 6 - Friday:
From Sturbridge to Mystic and Newport to Boston
The final day of your journey takes you from Sturbridge to Mystic and Newport. Your first stop will be in Mystic, where you will visit the Mystic Seaport and Olde Mistick Village, two popular attractions that showcase the maritime history of New England. By the end of the day, you will have arrived in Newport, the perfect place to end this incredible journey. With its stunning coastline and historic mansions, Newport will provide you with a memorable final night, surrounded by the beauty of New England.
